The Town of Easton is seeking a Maintenance Crew Member for its Public Works Department. This is a full-time, non-exempt role focusing on outdoor labor across municipal operations under the supervision of Maintenance Supervisors.

Responsibilities include landscaping, street and park maintenance, and general equipment operation. CDL-A, pesticide certification, and traffic control certification are required within stated timelines; candidate must be able to work in varied weather and emergencies.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A License within six months.
• Maryland pesticide applicator certificate.
• Traffic control certification.
• Proficient in operating riding mowers, chainsaws, leaf vacuums, bucket trucks.
• Ability to perform strenuous outdoor labor in all weather.

Responsabilités

• Landscaping and groundskeeping across town properties.
• Maintain streets, storm drains, and concrete repairs; assist with snow removal.
• Park facilities upkeep and basic repairs, painting and carpentry as needed.
• Operate diverse equipment assigned to Public Works Maintenance Division.
• Support other municipal crews and respond to supervisor instructions.
