Job summary

Esri seeks an Industry Manager to lead government and commercial GIS initiatives, developing a vision for mapping and location analytics and growing Esri’s market share. You will guide strategy, mentor teams, and collaborate across functions to drive revenue and customer impact.

The role requires 8+ years in public works leadership, strong presentation and written skills, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally; base salary is shown with a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership and practical experience in a public works discipline.
• Advanced GIS experience related to public works.
• Proven ability to present to large and small audiences.
• Strong written communication and thought leadership in relevant professional groups.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present an Esri vision for government and commercial sectors to maximize market share and revenue.
• Create and execute industry marketing strategies to support business objectives.
• Research and monitor market factors to anticipate industry trends and inform strategy.
• Collaborate across departments to enable sales and growth through industry expertise.
• Mentor and grow a team of industry managers and specialists; manage plans and budgets.
• Develop content and programs (webinars, case studies, collateral, events) to drive awareness.
