Job summary

Beavercreek Township's Public Service Department seeks a Service Worker I to assist with maintenance of township roads, drainage, and public properties. Under the supervision of the Public Service Director, you will perform entry-level manual labor and operate equipment as needed.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers base pay between $23.12 and $26.02 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain CDL, ability to lift 50–100 pounds, and willingness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain CDL.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of road maintenance and construction practices.
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during snow events and other emergencies.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
