Job summary

The City of Worthington is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Service and Engineering Department to perform skilled tasks in the maintenance of streets, grounds, buildings, and sewer utilities. This role includes snow removal and leaf collection duties as part of routine operations.

Job description

The City of Worthington is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician in the Service and Engineering Department. This position performs a variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance of streets, grounds, buildings, and sewer utilities. Activities include snow removal and leaf collection duties. Candidates must attain a Class A Ohio Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker endorsement within six months of the date of employment. A current CDL preferred.

This is a full-time, FLSA non-exempt, classified position with a salary range of $66,667 - $83,933. New hires typically are appointed at step A of the pay range. Training and experience may qualify a candidate for appointment at a higher step within this range. An excellent benefits package is available including health savings account contributions and a community center membership.
