Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; consider education substitutions per policy.
• 3 years of experience as crew lead or supervisor in field construction and maintenance.
• Must obtain Valid Texas Commercial Class B Driver's License within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs the day-to-day operations of field staff in street maintenance, drainage, sidewalks, and related tasks.
• Ensures compliance with service levels, specifications, safety procedures, and city policies.
• Performs inspections of equipment and materials and ensures safe operation.
• Maintains inventory and initiates stock replenishment.
• Interviews, selects, supervises, develops, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines staff per COSA guidelines.
• Coordinates work with utility companies and other city agencies.
• Responds to residents, business owners, and City Council Office requests.
• Maintains records and prepares reports on personnel, inventory, and costs; conducts meetings and training.
• Conducts safety investigations and documents findings; performs related duties.
