Job summary

NV5 is hiring multiple Water/Wastewater and Public Works Construction Inspectors across Southern California. Roles include Inland Empire, Orange County, High Desert, LA County, San Bernardino, and Riverside County.

Open for full-time, part-time, and on-call projects. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance on infrastructure projects such as roads, water systems, and treatment facilities, collaborating with engineers and environmental professionals to deliver cost-efficient,

Qualifications

• Experience in municipal/public works or civil construction.
• California Driver's License required.
• Caltrans MUCTD knowledge preferred.
• Group II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the Problem-Solver: work with supervisors, contractors, and design professionals to tackle challenges and ensure project execution.
• Oversee Quality & Compliance: monitor contractor work and inspect structures to ensure adherence to plans and specs.
• Keep Projects on Track: track costs/schedules, identify risks, and ensure deadlines without budget overruns.
• Drive Project Success: represent NV5 and manage client relationships to provide optimal solutions.
