Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator with municipal and civil project experience to support a growing pipeline across North Texas. You will prepare takeoffs, develop subcontractor scopes, and generate competitive bids while coordinating with project teams to ensure compliant pricing for public works.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years of estimating in municipal infrastructure, ability to handle high bid volume, and knowledge of the DFW market.

Qualifications

3+ years of estimating experience in municipal/civil projects.
Ability to estimate at volume without sacrificing detail.
Experience in the DFW / North Texas market preferred.

Responsibilities

Estimate municipal and civil projects including city park improvements, trail systems, streetscapes, sidewalks and ADA improvements, plaza renovations, public gathering spaces, sports complexes, school site improvements, trailheads and landscape infrastructure.
Prepare detailed takeoffs, subcontractor scopes, and competitive bids while coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate pricing and compliance with public standards.
Manage multiple bids at once in a high‑throughput estimating environment.
Solicit, level, and vet subcontractor pricing to ensure complete scope coverage.
Support bid strategy, risk evaluation, and value engineering efforts.
