Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced estimator in North Texas to support commercial and public works utility projects. You will estimate storm, water, and sewer scopes, use PlanSwift, MS Project, and HCSS Heavy Bid, and interact with clients to advance bids.

The role requires independent project handling, blueprints reading, and coordination with the estimating and project teams to ensure accurate budgets and timely submittals.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction estimating for storm, water, and sewer utilities.
• Familiarity with online bidding platforms such as IsqFt, Building Connected, Procore, SmartBid.
• Proficiency with PlanSwift, MS Project, and HCSS Heavy Bid is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong reading of civil blueprints and review of project scopes with estimating team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate preconstruction planning after project award.
• Collaborate with accounting and purchasing to prepare budgets and quotes.
• Coordinate with project management on change orders and documentation.
• Maintain official project documentation from launch to close.
