Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years of on-the-job experience operating heavy motor equipment.
• At least one year of experience in mechanical repairs and servicing heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on heavy motor equipment.
• Safely perform duties following established safety practices.
• Operate tank truck flusher, backhoes, loaders, rollers, paving machines and snow removal equipment.
• Assist and supervise laborers in loading/unloading and street maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain general maintenance of equipment and respond to after-hours weather events.
