Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 1 year of professional engineering design/plan review experience for Assistant Engineer.
• 4 years of professional engineering design/plan review experience for Associate Engineer, or 3 years if already at Assistant Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and inspect all phases of public works construction projects.
• Review plans for conformance with regulations; coordinate with permitting and utility agencies.
• Provide construction administration, project management, and contract administration for CIP projects.
• Investigate field problems, respond to inquiries, and provide public information.
• Manage traffic engineering studies, signals plans, and road design.
