Job summary

City of Tracy seeks an Associate/Associate Civil Engineer to manage CIP and land development projects from planning through construction. You will work with developers, consultants, contractors, utility agencies, and City leadership to deliver roads, water, drainage, and other infrastructure in a rapidly growing California community.

This role requires experience with land development, subdivision improvements, grading, drainage, and development review.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
• Possession of PE license is highly desirable.
• Valid California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and inspect CIP and land development projects from planning through construction.
• Coordinate with developers, contractors, and representatives of other agencies.
• Administer professional services and construction contracts; manage project budgets and schedules.
• Prepare staff reports and present findings to City leadership.
