Job summary

City of Phoenix seeks an Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across City facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance, document findings, and engage with internal and external customers to ensure high standards of service.

The role may require irregular shifts, evenings, weekends, and on-call support. Standby pay and differentials may apply, with a comprehensive benefits package for Unit 002 employees.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized four year electrical apprenticeship program, or equivalent training.
• OR three years of experience as a skilled electrician.
• Background check and driving requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair & replace electrical wiring systems, equipment & lighting.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document findings in a central system.
• Interact with customers to ensure high-quality service for internal and external requests.
• Operate earth-moving equipment and aerial equipment up to 120 to support repairs.
• Lead electrical teams occasionally, including apprentices, to complete tasks.
