The ideal candidate will hold a P.E. license, have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and at least eight years of progressive leadership experience in public works or civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Wisconsin P.E. registration required.
• Eight+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in civil/municipal engineering or public works.
• Strong supervisory, administrative, or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Engineering, Traffic, and Parking within Public Works.
• Lead division managers and capital improvement initiatives; oversee operating and capital budgets.
• Develop strategic and capital improvement plans; evaluate engineering plans and proposals.
• Build partnerships with City officials, regulators, consultants, developers, and the public.
