City of Suffolk in Virginia seeks a capable clerical/support specialist to assist with public works activities. You will help coordinate permit processes in the right of way, prepare and distribute project documents, and maintain infrastructure data under GASB-34 guidelines.

You will interact with property owners, developers, contractors, and the public, using standard office software and GPS tools to establish an infrastructure database.

Formación

• Two-year college degree in civil engineering or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work with the public and maintain records with accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparation and distribution of project correspondence and documentation.
• Coordinate engineering programs and general public inquiries.
• Research, review, and update project plans.
• Prepare and maintain various records and reports.
