The City of Neenah is seeking a Public Works Crewman to collect and dispose of refuse and recyclables, and perform a variety of roadway maintenance tasks. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of heavy manual work experience, with a valid Wisconsin CDL or eligibility to obtain one within six months.

Starting pay is $23.86 per hour, with $26.25 per hour for candidates with at least two years of public works experience.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma.
• One or more years of heavy manual work experience.
• Ability to obtain or hold a Wisconsin CDL with B, C, D and Class N (tanker) endorsements within 6 months, or obtain a Class B CDL learner's permit prior to hire.

Responsabilidades

• Operates automated collection trucks for refuse and recycling.
• Performs manual collection of household and yard waste.
• Operates vehicles, heavy machinery, and equipment for street-related tasks.
• Hauls garbage, recyclables, gravel, and snow.
• Maintains streets, sidewalks, sewers, gutters, and lift stations.
• Performs routine maintenance on City vehicles and facilities.
