The City of Brentwood seeks a lead Maintenance Worker to supervise a crew performing cleaning, maintenance, and repair of streets, facilities, grounds, and equipment. The role includes driving snow plows, operating various machinery, and performing semi-skilled tasks with potential for skilled trades work.

Applicants should have extensive construction experience and a valid Missouri Class B CDL, with preference for Brentwood Public Works experience.

Qualificações

• Five (5) or more years’ construction experience with skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, framing, finishing, concrete work, drywall, flooring, HVAC or refrigeration.
• Graduation from a general or technical high school, or GED.
• Must have a valid Missouri Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be insurable with the City's insurance carrier.
• Prefer five (5) or more years with Brentwood Public Works in Maintenance Worker I or II position.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a crew of Maintenance Workers; supervise on-site activities and safety procedures.
• Perform duties of Maintenance Workers I & II plus skilled trades as needed.
• Operate motorized equipment such as trucks with snow plows, salt spreaders, backhoes, and skid steers.
