Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; substitutions allowed with experience.
  • Professional Engineer license required or able to obtain within six months.
  • Experience in design and review of commercial construction plans and subdivision plans.

Responsibilities

  • Review final construction plans and reports for subdivisions, commercial and industrial projects for compliance with County Codes & Regulations.
  • Review Environmental Site Assessments for compliance with ASTM standards and County Regulations.
  • Assist Senior Engineer with Land Use Plans, Development Plans, and subdivision appeals; visit sites and communicate with engineers, contractors, citizens and other agencies.
  • Supervise staff engineering technicians and provide performance reviews.
