Job summary

Orange County Government in Orlando is seeking an Engineer I, II, or III to join the Field Services Engineering Group. You will apply engineering principles, conduct data‑driven analyses, and support CIP projects to improve water and wastewater infrastructure.

This role offers exposure to asset management, hydraulic analysis, SCADA data, GIS, and Power BI, with opportunities to influence regulatory compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months from hire.
• 1–4 years utilities engineering experience for Engineer II/III.

Responsibilities

• Sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) discharge response and reporting; prepare regulatory reports.
• Evaluate root causes of SSOs and track trends for prevention.
• Review water infrastructure failures and maintain renewal/replacement database.
