Qualifications

• This position requires an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License on day one.
• An active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit on day one.
• Active Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with FMCSA regulations by day one.
• Demonstrated ability to operate equipment with a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, loaders, and other construction equipment used in roadway maintenance.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections and basic equipment adjustments.
• Follow safety procedures, observe work areas, and report hazards.
• Support highway crews and maintain a safe work environment for coworkers and the public.
• Carry out environmental protection steps during maintenance activities.
