This six-month trainee role trains on heavy trucks, loaders, and other equipment, with safety, field awareness, and environmental duties. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with no telework; starting salary is $42,347 per

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C license or equivalent.
• Ability to operate equipment with a manual transmission.
• Active Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL Learner's Permit on first day.
• Active Medical Examiner's Certificate by the first day of work.
• Ability to pass required medical exam and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate heavy trucks, loaders, and other construction equipment.
• Perform various manual labor tasks with tools.
• Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Support field operations and environmental protection requirements.
• Assist with daily maintenance tasks of highway and bridge projects.
