The Metropolitan District seeks a Project Manager to supervise the development and implementation of the District's Capital Improvement Program, overseeing engineering work on major capital projects and facility upgrades. The role requires public works engineering expertise and strong project management skills across all project phases.

Candidates should hold a civil/environmental/electrical engineering degree and a Connecticut P.E.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or electrical engineering required.
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible engineering design and/or project management experience for municipal utilities or public works.
• Must possess and maintain Connecticut Professional Engineering license, or reciprocity within 90 days; valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Oversees preparation of CIP plan and environmental documentation; presents to the Board and officials.
• Supervises engineering review, assigns projects, and prioritizes workload.
• Manages schedules, budgets, change orders, and project controls to meet cost and time targets.
• Acts as liaison with consultants, contractors, and public stakeholders; prepares executive summaries for management.
