Job summary

The State of Wyoming is seeking a Health Program Specialist to lead operations for the vaccine programs and ensure funding aligns with federal objectives.

You will develop population estimates, manage spend plans, supervise staff, and collaborate with immunization partners to protect Wyoming communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or related field.
• 1–2 years of progressive work experience in Health Programs, or 4–6 years with substitution.
• No Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations required.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and funding for state and federal vaccine programs.
• Track and report progress toward federal grant objectives.
• Develop population and eligibility estimates for vaccine funding allocation.
• Prepare and submit the annual Vaccine Spend Plan and monthly updates.
• Oversee training and compliance verification for providers in vaccine programs.
