Job summary

The State of Wyoming is seeking a Public Health Nurse in Uinta County to promote wellness and prevent disease across the community. You will deliver vaccines, screenings, education, and connect residents with health resources, while shaping health initiatives and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wyoming.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience in public health nursing or community health is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct nursing assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and evaluations per Public Health Nursing Standards.
Organize and lead community health clinics and health education classes.
Administer vaccines, provide STI/HIV testing, TB testing, and case management services.
Collaborate with the nurse manager on emergency preparedness activities.
Support core public health functions and prioritize services meeting community needs.
