The Office of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel (OCC) seeks an Analytical Intern to assist the Analytical Department with research on utility costs and data collection for residential consumers. The role emphasizes analysis, data review, and drafting data requests to support OCC’s mission of affordable and reliable utility services.

Qualifications

• enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a degree in economics, accounting, finance, or similar field.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, online research ability, strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze topics related to OCC's mission, review utility data and current rates.
• Draft written data requests for related research and analysis.
• Draft requests for proposals and assist with consultant work.
• Support case and issue development by gathering materials and preparing reports.
