Job summary

The Office of Public Counsel seeks two exceptional analysts to provide professional and technical support in complex litigation impacting Florida’s utility customers.

You will work under the Chief Public Utilities Analyst to guide attorneys and expert witnesses, review filings, and help craft cost-effective regulatory strategies that protect residential, commercial, and industrial customers across Florida.

Qualifications

• A professional 4-year degree from an accredited university and at least five years of significant experience in one of the multidisciplinary subject areas mentioned above.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to attorneys and national experts in complex utility cases.
• Assist with hearings involving rate cases, data center tariffs, storm hardening plans, and hurricane restoration.
• Review filings, prepare memoranda, and develop persuasive arguments to support customer advocacy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and outside experts to achieve affordable, workable outcomes for Florida customers.
