  • Coordinate with engineering, R&D, quality, and supply chain teams to drive development timelines and technical compliance.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a liaison across departments to ensure program success—facilitating communication between engineering, procurement, production, and external stakeholders.

Standards & Regulatory Monitoring

  • Maintain familiarity with key industry standards such as IEEE, NEMA, UL, NFPA, and DOT/FRA regulations.
  • Monitor policy changes affecting power and transportation infrastructure, advising leadership on implications and strategic actions.

Operational Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and technical milestones across active programs. Identify areas for efficiency and recommend process improvements.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Interface with government agencies, utilities, OEM partners, and internal engineering teams. Represent MEPPI’s interests in external engagements.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of program or project management experience in critical power, electrical systems, transportation infrastructure, or industrial automation.

Technical Acumen

  • In-depth understanding of electrical distribution, UPS systems, transportation power systems, control systems, and data center infrastructure.
  • Experience managing system-level engineering programs from concept to execution.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences.

Tools & Systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Experience with ERP and PLM systems is a plus.
