Job summary

Rock Region METRO, Arkansas’ largest public transit agency, is seeking a Service Technician to perform daily servicing of vehicles and equipment, maintain cleanliness, and assist in safe operations. The role includes driving vehicles, recording maintenance, and ensuring compliance with METRO policies and safety regulations.

The position emphasizes teamwork, responsible driving, and adherence to pre-employment and ongoing safety requirements, including background checks and a CDL with Passenger

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess valid Driver’s License and CDL with Passenger Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Service METRO vehicles and equipment; check, top off fluids, and record fluids.
• Clean interiors/exteriors, windows, upholstery, and parts; maintain clean work area.
• Drive and park METRO vehicles following safety policies and traffic laws.
• Install/remove METRO signs as directed.
