Job summary

Resource Management Systems, Inc. (RMS) is seeking dependable CDL drivers to provide public transportation in Staunton, Virginia. This role requires an active CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a strong commitment to safety.

You will operate company vehicles, assist passengers, manage wheelchair lifts, and communicate with dispatch. DOT screenings, pre-employment checks, and regular vehicle inspections are part of the job.

Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required.
• Must have an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screening.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles for passenger transport.
• Transport clients to and from scheduled appointments.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and ensure passenger safety.
• Conduct vehicle inspections per policy.
• Maintain accurate trip and mileage records.
• Communicate with dispatch and management as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professionalism.
