Job summary

Crawford Area Transportation Authority seeks a Fixed Route Driver to operate public transit vehicles on assigned routes and schedules. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, ensure passenger safety, and collect fares following authority procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting passengers with disabilities, adhering to safety standards, and working flexible hours as assigned. Prior CDL with passenger endorsement and clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT drug screening and CFR 49 Part 40 requirements.
• May require Pennsylvania CDL with passenger endorsement.
• CDL medical certificate every two years.

Responsibilities

• Operate public transit vehicle on fixed routes and timetables.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections with required reports.
• Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, in a courteous manner.
• Collect fares according to Authority procedures.
• Follow Authority policies and safety procedures during shifts.
