Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years heavy duty vehicle operation experience preferred.
• Valid Class B Commercial driver's license with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements within 90 days of hire.
• Must possess USDOT card upon hire.
• Valid Michigan driver's license.
• Ability to pass USDOT pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Must not have previously failed any USDOT drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Transports passengers according to defined bus routes, schedules and policies.
• Assists passengers and manages climate controls for comfort.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complies with USDOT safety policies and reporting requirements.
• Collects cash and fares with accuracy.
• Maintains knowledge of local streets and routes.
• Communicates with Dispatch and Supervisors via radio.
