Job summary

Caledonia Community School District Transportation Department in Caledonia, Michigan seeks a Bus Driver or Substitute Bus Driver. You will transport students on defined routes while adhering to schedules, safety policies, and district rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CDL with endorsements, and CPR/First-Aid certification. Training is provided; part-time schedule with 6:00-9:00 AM and 2:00-5:00 PM shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous bus driver experience preferred, but training offered.
• Valid Michigan CDL with B-P-S endorsements and clean driving record.
• CPR and First-Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus on defined routes following schedules and rules.
• Perform pre-, mid-, and post-trip inspections daily.
• Maintain student safety and discipline on the bus.
• Communicate with Transportation Director and bus garage.
• Complete required reports and forms.
