Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in automotive maintenance and repairing heavy and light trucks for Mechanic Class A.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts and repairs automotive equipment using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment; disassembles defective equipment and tests repaired parts.
• Overhauls engines or rebuilds parts; adjusts brakes, replaces tires, and repairs electrical systems on buses and City vehicles.
• Prepare records and documentation of work performed on vehicles.
• Complies with all safety policies/procedures for reporting safety events and mechanical concerns.
