Ivy Hospitality in Columbus is seeking a Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness of public areas, deliver linens and supplies to the housekeeping team, and respond promptly to guest needs to keep rooms turning smoothly.

You will work with the housekeeping staff, follow safety procedures, assist with deep cleaning, and collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent, exceptional guest experiences across the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and push heavy carts.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and associates.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms).
• Deliver linens, supplies, and amenities to housekeeping staff promptly.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously (extra towels, bedding, etc.).
• Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas with necessary supplies.
• Communicate with housekeeping team to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other assigned tasks.
• Follow safety procedures for cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance needs or safety hazards observed.
• Ensure courteous, professional guest interactions and collaboration with other departments.
• Participate in daily hotel operations meetings and support hotel strategy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by General Manager/Department Leader.
