Job summary

The Kohler Co. is seeking a Housekeeper for a full-time, onsite role in Kohler, WI. You will join a detail-oriented team responsible for guest rooms and facilities, following established cleaning standards and using appropriate cleaning chemicals.

Hours are primarily 8:00am - 4:30pm on weekdays and weekends. The role requires standing most of the day, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1-2 years of Housekeeping or Hospitality experience preferred
• Prior hotel/lodging experience is helpful, but not necessary
• Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Following established cleaning standards, ensuring the proper chemical is used on each surface
• Maintaining the highest housekeeping standards established for The American Club, Inn on Woodlake and Riverbend
• Being responsible for proper use and care of cleaning tools assigned to you such as squeegees, sticky rollers, etc.
• Being responsible for understanding assignment board, making a note of early arrivals, late departures, VIPs, special requests, etc.
• Ensuring all stay over rooms must be cleaned to meet stay over requirements to include personalizing of room, and all checkout rooms must be cleaned to meet hotel standards

Skills
