Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and facilities at Kohler, WI.

This onsite role requires standing most of the day and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on clean, personalized room experiences and adherence to established cleaning standards. You will follow assignment boards, accommodate VIPs and special requests, and help uphold housekeeping standards across The American Club, Inn on Woodlake and Riverbend.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1-2 years of Housekeeping or Hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior hotel/lodging experience is helpful, but not necessary.
• Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Following established cleaning standards, ensuring the proper chemical is used on each surface
• Maintaining the highest housekeeping standards established for The American Club, Inn on Woodlake and Riverbend
• Being responsible for proper use and care of cleaning tools assigned to you such as squeegees, sticky rollers etc.
• Being responsible for understanding assignment board, making a note of early arrivals, late departures, VIPs, special requests etc.
• Ensuring all stay over rooms must be cleaned to meet stay over requirements to include personalizing of room, and all checkout rooms must be cleaned to meet hotel standards
