Job summary

Block by Block in Camden, NJ is seeking a Team Leader to supervise Ambassadors, manage shift duties, and uphold our standards of safety and public-space cleanliness.

The role runs Mon–Fri from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., pays $23.14 per hour, and requires prior supervisory experience, a valid NJ driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. A High School diploma or college preferred is noted; health benefits and 401K are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior managerial/supervisory experience
• Special project/Maintenance background - fixing banners, pressure washers, and operating other machines

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Ambassadors on shift, ensuring compliance with Block by Block standards and policies.
• Communicate daily shift briefs, assign duties and zones, and monitor events, weather and safety updates.
• Provide excellent customer service to the BID and team, guiding on-street operations.
• Prepare written reports on infrastructure issues and daily accomplishments.
• Maintain a positive, professional environment and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Traverse the shift, work outdoors in all weather, and operate with appropriate weather gear.
