Job summary

Hollywood Casino Columbus is seeking a dedicated cleaning associate to maintain public areas within the property. You will greet guests, respond to cleaning requests, and ensure spaces are clean and visually appealing throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, and common areas, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance needs. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairwells, fitness areas, meeting rooms, and exterior walkways.
• Dusts, sweeps, mops, vacuums, and polishes floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other surfaces to maintain a polished look.
• Maintains public restrooms by cleaning and replenishing supplies.
• Empties trash and recycling and ensures proper disposal.
• Keeps public areas clean, organized, and visually impeccable during shift.
• Greets guests professionally, offers assistance, and responds to guest inquiries.
• Identifies and reports maintenance needs and safety hazards; completes work orders.
• Uses cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and follows safety procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping closets and supply areas in clean, orderly condition; communicates supply needs.
• Assists with cleaning guestrooms, special projects, and seasonal tasks.

• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairwells, fitness areas, meeting rooms, and exterior walkways.


• Dusts, sweeps, mops, vacuums, and polishes floors, furniture, fixtures, windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other surfaces to maintain a polished, streak-free appearance.


• Maintains public restrooms by cleaning regularly and replenishing paper products, soap, and other guest amenities.


• Empties trash and recycling, replaces liners, and ensures proper disposal throughout public and service areas.


• Ensures public areas remain clean, organized, and visually impeccable throughout the shift in alignment with Four-Diamond standards.


• Greets guests professionally when encountered, offers assistance, and responds promptly and courteously to guest inquiries or cleaning requests.


• Identifies and reports maintenance needs, spills, safety hazards, or repair issues and completes work orders accurately.


• Uses cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, follows OSHA, PPE, bloodborne pathogen, key control and safety procedures, and maintains clean, functional tools and carts.


• Maintains housekeeping closets, carts, and supply areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition and communicates supply or equipment needs.


• Assists with cleaning guestrooms, special projects, deep-cleaning assignments, seasonal tasks, and emergency procedures.


• Any additional job-related duties as assigned.
