Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain the hotel’s lobby, business center, fitness center, restaurants, public restrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, elevators, pool areas, and other spaces to Highgate standards. The position is full-time and paid hourly.

The attendant will perform cleaning tasks, respond to guest needs, and coordinate with housekeeping. Candidates should have a High School diploma, able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible with long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lobby, business center, fitness center, restaurants, public restrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, elevators, pool areas, parking areas, driveways and other public spaces to Highgate standards.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assist in room and house attendant duties when needed.
• Deliver clean linen to assigned sections and manage trash appropriately.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and courteous service.
