Responsibilities

• Respond to patron questions by directing them to the appropriate individual(s) or area(s).
• Re‑shelve items, perform shelf‑reading, and assist with floor printers/copiers.
• Ensure library floors are neat and orderly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Eligibility & Legal Requirements

In adherence to the Immigration Control Act of 1986, all student employees must complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I‑9) and present documentation verifying citizenship or permanent residency. Employees may not begin work until the I‑9 form has been completed and properly certified. The required documents include a valid U.S. passport, certificate of U.S. citizenship, alien registration card with photograph, or two of the following: a state driver's license, validated student ID card, original social security card, birth certificate.
