The State of Maine’s Department of Administrative and Financial Services, General Government Service Center, Augusta, seeks an experienced HR professional to provide professional-level human resources services to state agencies.

The role manages all position actions, advises on job classifications, participates in recruitment, and maintains vacancies and seniority reports; strong data analytics and cross-agency coordination are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated education, training, and/or experience in human resources or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage all position actions and advise/ process job classification actions.
• Participate in recruitment efforts for state agencies.
• Query and maintain reports such as vacancies, position reports and seniority lists.
• Coordinate with agencies, Bureau of Human Resources, Office of the State Controller and Bureau of Budget; run complex data analytics.
