Job summary

State of Maine is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented HR professional to manage position actions, advise agencies on job classifications, and support recruitment efforts for agencies served by the General Government Service Center.

The role emphasizes querying and maintaining reports, collaborating with multiple state agencies, and performing complex data analytics to drive human resources decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in human resources or related field.
• Knowledge of job classifications and interpreting rules/regulations.
• Experience with recruiting and position management.
• Strong communication and data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all position actions and advise agencies on job classification actions.
• Assist in recruitment efforts for State agencies.
• Query and maintain reports such as vacancies and seniority lists.
• Coordinate with Bureau of Human Resources, Office of the State Controller, and Bureau of Budget.
• Run complex data analytics to support HR decisions.
