Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a State Government Finance and System Project Manager to lead public-sector modernization engagements, embedded with state, county, and municipal agencies. You will drive enterprise software initiatives, optimize business processes, and transform IT architectures while managing client relationships and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of project management experience.
• Familiar with ERP systems & technology implementation best practices.
• Experience with State and Local Government, nonprofit, and other highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management support for client project management teams leading software selection, implementations, and system integrations.
• Handles core systems and staff augmentation roles.
• Develops, builds, and revises procedures and client playbooks for system rollouts.
• Helps to protect clients from vendor scope creep and monitors project risks.
• Oversees documentation, project timelines, and internal and vendor-facing deliverables.
• Other duties as required to support changing client needs across different agency engagements.
