The Treasurer will render monthly financial statements to the MVTCG Board, assist with data for studies, and administer grant funds.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or related field.
Ability to obtain professional certifications in accounting and payroll and valid Ohio School Treasurer's license.
Strong working knowledge of payroll and employee benefits.
Demonstrated ability to organize multiple tasks into a logical sequence.
Ability to learn and utilize new computer software systems.

Responsibilities

Manages a complete and systematic set of financial records in accordance with state statute and auditor requirements.
Performs or oversees payroll and benefits administration and processing duties.
Manages and prepares financial reports and records in accordance with statute and education department requirements.
Renders a monthly financial statement to the MVTCG Board and assists the Executive Director with data for studies and reports.
Administers grant program funds as needed.
