Job summary

U.S. Digital Response seeks a Chief Technology & AI Officer to own the strategic vision and technical leadership for how USDR approaches digital transformation and AI.

This is a hands-on, doer role on the executive team, leading cross-functional efforts, setting technical standards, and driving transformation across programs and operations. The role directly leads our Tools & Ops Manager and Elections Program, and, contingent on funding, will oversee a new AI Studio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver across USDR’s programs to help governments deliver (30%)
• Define how USDR adopts and deploys AI responsibly (30%)
• Set long-term technology infrastructure direction (20%)
• Own org-wide priorities as part of an Executive Team of doers (20%)
• Travel 1-2x/quarter for internal meetings and fundraising
