Job summary

Dallas County in Dallas, TX seeks a Systems Analyst for the District Attorney's Office to help drive SDLC activities, from requirements to testing, with cross-functional collaboration among end-users, development staff and partners.

The role focuses on documenting specifications, designing solutions, deploying releases, configuring IIS, managing access and supporting the data center environment, including SQL-based reporting and mainframe related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs all phases of the software development including application design sessions, system requirements definition, application development, and testing.
• Analyzes ELMAH logs and documentation, Storage Management Volume, mainframe error logs, application error stack trace and performs root cause analysis.
• Deploys new software release versions configures application to enable new features/functions, manages security permissions, re-configures IIS and installs web based applications and develops interfaces.
• Creates/updates/maintains the application web portal and manages application level configuration. Approves the granting of access, creates and maintains accounts for authorized staff.
• Performs backup testing software and data. Acts as second tier of the technical support team.
• Performs unit, regression, and system level testing.
• Coordinates silent installation of third party software configuration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
