Job summary

Onit, Inc. is seeking an RFP Analyst to support public-sector sales across SLED markets. You will manage intake-to-submission for RFPs, RFIs, ITBs, and other procurements, coordinating with Sales and subject-matter experts to ensure compliant, accurate responses.

The role requires 3+ years in RFP/proposal work, strong writing and project management skills, and familiarity with government procurement processes. A dynamic, fast-paced environment in the public sector awaits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in RFP management, proposal development, public-sector sales support, government contracting, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing complex solicitation documents, managing compliance-driven proposal responses, and supporting public-sector procurement.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate contributors across several teams.
• Familiarity with government RFPs, RFIs, ITBs, cooperative purchasing, public bid portals, and formal procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify relevant RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, bids, solicitations, and other procurement opportunities issued by state and local government agencies, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations.
• Manage assigned SLED RFPs, RFIs, ITBs, and other formal solicitations from intake through final submission, building and maintaining response schedules, compliance matrices, and review cycles.
• Review procurement documents to identify mandatory requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines, forms, certifications, and submission instructions, ensuring all submissions meet solicitation specifications.
• Draft, edit, and tailor proposal responses for state and local government, higher education, and K-12 audiences, translating Onit's product, technical, security, implementation, and support capabilities into clear responses.
