Job summary

Empower seeks a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual retirement plan education to North Carolina state and local government employees and educators. You will leverage Empower's technology to drive results and support the Relationship Management team in building key stakeholder relationships in Raleigh, NC.

You will lead one-on-one and group meetings, encourage plan enrollment and deferrals, and log activities in our systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of relevant financial services experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Strong relationship building and territory management skills.
FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required.

Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate education strategies via one-on-one virtual and on-site meetings.
Drive participants to enroll, defer more, and roll over to improve retirement outcomes.
Meet service level agreements and achieve business results.
Complete reporting within required timeframes, logging meetings and outcomes.
Build relationships with plan sponsors and stakeholders to maximize outcomes.
Provide feedback to local managers on communication materials and strategies.
Attend client meetings with service teams.
May participate in finals presentations for new prospects in the territory.
