Job summary

Empower in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Retirement Plan Advisor to assist public employees with 457 plans and defined contribution investments. You will conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and group presentations, using consultative skills to help participants improve retirement outcomes.

You will develop partnerships with key stakeholders, document interactions in Salesforce, and work with the Relationship Management team to build strong relationships within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3–5 years relevant financial services experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently required.
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills required.
• FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within established timeline; current FINRA registrations strongly preferred.
• FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and group presentations to improve retirement outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across assigned locations or plans.
• Conduct one-on-one virtual and on-site meetings using various technologies professionally.
• Create and execute dynamic business plans to drive retirement income objectives for participants.
• Document interactions in Salesforce and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Achieve plan-level and individual goals to meet SLAs and business results.
• Participate in client meetings and external engagements as needed.
• Collaborate across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness.
