Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a data analyst to transform workforce data into meaningful insights for stakeholders. You will export data from warehouses, build reports, and deliver dashboards using SQL, Tableau, and Excel.

Collaborate with HR and leadership to shape data strategies, ensure data accuracy, and support ad hoc requests with clear, visual results. This role emphasizes open communication and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and three years of data analysis information experience preferred.
Proficiency using SQL for ad hoc queries, report generation, and cleaning data.
Knowledge of HR data, data warehouses, and reporting best practices.

Responsibilities

Export information from data warehouse and other applications for routine reports and ad hoc queries.
Analyze data related to the team member experience and talent management initiatives.
Convert and validate raw data into clear, meaningful information.
Communicate results effectively through various mediums and contexts.
Validate data accuracy from multiple sources and respond to inquiries.
Provide excellent customer service to state agencies and stakeholders.
Develop reports, queries, and document processes for recurring and ad hoc requests.
Collaborate with leaders to facilitate data discussions and data strategies.
