Job summary

Blue Ridge Executive Search seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to provide overall direction for GC/M/P projects in the public sector, including SCA, DASNY, DDC, NYCHA and JOC contracts in New York.

You will plan and organize multiple projects with department heads, oversee subcontractor procurement, coordinate submittals, and collaborate with estimating to develop budgets and change orders, while maintaining schedules with MS Project.

Qualifications

• Experience managing GC/M/P construction projects, including JOC.
• Ability to coordinate with department heads and owners.
• Knowledge of procurement, submittals, schedules, and budgeting.
• Experience with State and City Agencies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and facilitate multiple small to medium projects with department heads.
• Oversee procurement of subcontractors and submittals.
• Collaborate with Estimating to establish project estimates and change orders.
• Maintain project schedules using MS Project or similar tool.
• Monitor projects to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Manage contract finances to protect company interests and maintain client relations.
• Liaise with owners, prime clients and vendors to facilitate construction activities.
